Nevada's waste rules live in NAC 678B.475, the section operators still know by its old number, NCCR 10.080, before the state recodified its cannabis regulations in 2026. The requirements are specific. Cannabis waste must be rendered unusable before it leaves your licensed facility: ground and incorporated with approved non-cannabis waste until cannabis is less than 50 percent of the mixture by volume. Notice goes through METRC before destruction, not after. And inside the City of Las Vegas, licensees coordinate disposal through the city's process on top of state rules.
